Pits4PEACE: Volunteers Needed!

On July 23, 2013, the Pits4PEACE organization was officially founded by mother-daughter team Sonia Mahajan and Sue Datta, along with their half-pit half-Lab and part-something-else five-year-old "puppy" Bindi.

We're looking for volunteers! We're a brand-new organization, with our goal being to educate society about pit bulls. Volunteers would be preferred to be 11+ years of age, with prior experience with dogs and really passionate about animals. E-mail us at pits4peace@gmail.com to apply.

***PLEASE NOTE: This volunteer opportunity does NOT have much actual involvement with animals, other than our Team Dog!! These positions are also styled around being for high school/middle schoolers +! There is NO SALARY involved with this volunteer opportunity!****

AEO: Advocate, Educate, Organize

The Pits4PEACE Team uses 3 major steps towards achieving our goal for equality for pit bulls: advocation, education, and organization.

Advocation: We need people to publicly support our cause! Without people reading our website and news updates and learning from them, we have no organization and no way to achieve our end goal.

Education: Through the advocation, we would like people to be EDUCATED, and learn about the true nature of pit bulls and how they can help with pit bull advocacy.

Organization: None of this--advocation and education--can be done without organization. Through our Organization, Pits4PEACE, people can become educated and find advocates for the pit bull cause.
